Congratulations to the below concentrators on receiving Hoopes Prizes for their outstanded theses; also to their advisors!

 

Stephen Casper for his thesis “Efficient and Insidious Adversaries in Deep Reinforcement Learning", advised by Professor Gabriel Kreiman and Professor Lucas Janson.

Katherine Deng for her thesis “Toward a Latent Space Understanding of Regional Identity and Social Connectedness in the United States”, advised by Professor Benjamin Golub and Professor Tracy Ke.

Asher Spector for his thesis “Powerful Feature Selection under Dependence: Minimizing Reconstructability to Generate Knockoffs”, advised by Professor Lucas Janson.
