Professor Zheng Tracy Ke wins Peter Hall IMS Early Career Prize

The Department is delighted that our Professor Tracy Ke has won the Peter Hall IMS Early Career Prize. The IMS announcement is below.

The Peter Gavin Hall Early Career Prize recognizes early-career research accomplishments and research promise in statistics, broadly construed. The 2021 recipient of the Peter Gavin Hall IMS Early Career Prize is Zheng Tracy Ke of Harvard University.

Dr. Ke was chosen by the Committee on the Hall Award “for her fundamental theoretical advancements in understanding the Phase Diagrams for several complex modern models including the Rare/Weak signal model, and for her significant contribution in methods and theory for text modeling and network analysis.”

Dr. Ke’s research interests include high-dimensional statistics; machine learning; social network analysis; text mining; and bioinformatics and statistical genetics.
