Professor Xihong Lin Elected as a 2024 AAAS Fellow

The Department of Statistics would like to announce that Dr. Xihong Lin, Professor of Biostatistics and Statistics at Harvard University, has been elected to be a 2024 AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) Fellow in the Section on Statistics.  According to the AAAS website, "AAAS Fellows are a distinguished cadre of scientists, engineers and innovators who have been recognized for their achievements across disciplines, from research, teaching, and technology, to administration in academia, industry and government, to excellence in communicating and interpreting science to the public."  Since 1874, a group of leading scientists has been elected each year by the AAAS Council and honored at the Fellows Forum, where recipients receive a certificate.  Congratulations, Prof. Lin, on this great achievement!
