PhD Student Biyonka Liang Receives Honorable Mention for ASA's Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship

PhD student Biyonka Liang received an honorable mention for the 2022 Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship!  The award was created in 1989 by the American Statistics Association's Committee on Women in Statistics and Caucus for Women in Statistics to encourage more women to pursue statistics-related careers.  The ASA shares the following citation, “To Biyonka Liang, for a commitment to mentoring undergraduate women in statistics, for volunteerism and outreach in using statistics for social good, and for academic success during her pursuit of a PhD in Statistics at Harvard University."
