New colleague: Pierre Jacob

The Department welcomes Pierre Jacob as an Assistant Professor of Statistics.  Pierre joins us from Oxford University where he has been a post-doctoral fellow.  His Ph.D. was from Université Paris-Dauphine.  His  research focus has been on Sequential and Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods for Bayesian Statistics.
