ASA Outstanding Statistical Application Award for Edo Airoldi

The American Statistical Association has announced that their Outstanding Statistical Application (OSA) Award for 2016 has gone to Edo Airoldi (pictured) and Jonathan Bischof (Google) for their 2016 Journal of the American Statistical Association paper A regularization scheme on word occurrence rates that improves estimation and interpretation of topical content (with discussion).
