Morgane Austern Is a 2026 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow

The Department of Statistics would like to congratulate Assistant Professor Morgane Austern on being selected as a 2026 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in Mathematics. This is an enormous achievement, as the fellowship was awarded to 126 individuals across seven disciplines. Only a small number of recipients were recognized in mathematics.
