Julie Vu Is Featured in the Harvard Crimson

The Department of Statistics would like to share a recent interview in the Harvard Crimson with Curriculum/Pedagogy Specialist Julie Vu, “Fifteen Questions: Julie Vu on Human Judgment, Teaching Philosophies, and Why Good Data Matters” by Megha Khemka. 

The wide-ranging conversation includes Julie’s thoughts on the necessity (and pitfalls) of human judgment in data, the role of statistics in telling stories about data, and her “learning by doing” teaching philosophy. She also gives us the scoop on her signature baking dish!
