Asher Spector Featured in the Wall Street Journal

We are thrilled to share that Asher Spector, a Statistics alum, was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal this month following the launch of his new AI research lab, Flapping Airplanes. The start-up aims to solve the "data efficiency" problem in artificial intelligence by building models that can learn efficiently without relying on massive datasets. The start-up recently received $180 million in seed funding at a valuation of $1.5 billion from Google Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Index Ventures and Menlo Ventures.  Congratulations,
