The Department is delighted that our Professor Tracy Ke has won the Peter Hall IMS Early Career Prize. The IMS announcement is below.

The Peter Gavin Hall Early Career Prize recognizes early-career research accomplishments and research promise in statistics, broadly construed. The 2021 recipient of the Peter Gavin Hall IMS Early Career Prize is Zheng Tracy Ke of Harvard University.

Three Statistics concentrators receive Hoopes Prize for outstanding senior theses

Congratulations to the below concentrators on receiving Hoopes Prizes for their outstanded theses; also to their advisors!

 

Stephen Casper for his thesis “Efficient and Insidious Adversaries in Deep Reinforcement Learning", advised by Professor Gabriel Kreiman and Professor Lucas Janson.
