The fellowship was given in part for Prof. Imai's project proposal entitled "Improving Statistical Methodology for Evaluating and Reducing Racial Disparities." The 2024 cohort contains a diverse group of 188 fellows from across the arts, sciences, and humanities, who were chosen out of a pool of approximately 3,000 applicants. Established in 1925 by Senator Simon Guggenheim, the program has awarded 19,000 fellowships since its founding. Congratulations to Prof. Imai!
