PhD student **Biyonka Liang** received an [honorable mention for the 2022 Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship](https://www.amstat.org/your-career/awards/gertrude-m-cox-scholarship)! The award was created in 1989 by the American Statistics Association's Committee on Women in Statistics and Caucus for Women in Statistics to encourage more women to pursue statistics-related careers. The ASA shares the following citation, “To Biyonka Liang, for a commitment to mentoring undergraduate women in statistics, for volunteerism and outreach in using statistics for social good, and for academic success during her pursuit of a PhD in Statistics at Harvard University."
