#  New colleague: Xihong Lin

 The Department welcomes [Xihong Lin](http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/xihong-lin/) as a Professor of Statistics. Xihong is chair of the Biostatistics Department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Henry Pickering Walcott Professor of Biostatistics. Her focus is on developing new methodology in genomics and statistical genetics. Xihong has received many awards for her statistical research including the 2006 Presidents' Award from the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS).
