 The Department welcomes [Pierre Jacob](https://sites.google.com/site/pierrejacob/) as an Assistant Professor of Statistics. Pierre joins us from Oxford University where he has been a post-doctoral fellow. His Ph.D. was from Université Paris-Dauphine. His research focus has been on Sequential and Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods for Bayesian Statistics.
