Professor Susan A. Murphy became President of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics on 31^st July 2019, taking over from our own Professor Xiao-Li Meng. Other Harvard Faculty members who were, at one time or other, President are W.G. Cochran (1946), Herman Chernoff (1968), Frederick Mosteller (1975) and Xiao-Li Meng (2019). Congratulations Susan!
