We are delighted that Lucas Janson will join the Harvard Statistics Department on 1st July 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Statistics. Lucas is currently a PhD student in statistics at Stanford. We are delighted that Professor Susan Murphy will join the Harvard Statistics Department on 1st September 2017 as a Professor of Statistics and the Radcliffe Alumnae Professor at the Radcliffe Institute, Harvard University. Susan is currently H.E. Robbins Distinguished University Professor of Statistics & Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. She has received many awards during her career, including being a member of the National Academy of Sciences and a MacArthur Fellow.
