The Department of Statistics is excited to share that [Assistant Professor Mark Sellke ](https://msellke.com/)was awarded the [2025 Rollo Davidson Prize](https://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/rollo-davidson-prize) for “his wide-ranging contributions to applications of probability, especially in the development and understanding of algorithms for high-dimensional optimization.” Established in 1976 in honor of Dr. Rollo Davidson, the prize is bestowed annually upon a select group of early career researchers in the area of probability.
