#  2018 Pickard Teaching Awards

 The Department of Statistics has awarded its biennial Pickard Teaching Awards to four Teaching Fellows and one Faculty Member.

 PhD students [Sanqian Zhang](/people/sanqian-zhang)**,** Luis Campos**,** Regan Mozer**,** and Zach Branson**,** as well as Assistant Professor [Pierre Jacob](/people/pierre-e-jacob) (pictured here) received recognition for their excellence in teaching.

 Certificates and prizes were awarded at the Fifth David K. Pickard Memorial Lecture, which featured Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel, Professor of the Practice, Department of Statistics, Duke University.
